Born in Sydney Australia, Kerrie initially freelanced as a self-taught graphic illustrator alongside her daytime job. Working as a designer, costumer and artist, Kerrie produced prolifically within Sydney’s Science Fiction scene for some years. While raising two boys Kerrie explored cross-media techniques, becoming proficient at many skills including embroidery, sewing, and paper crafts. During this span of time she also enjoyed volunteering in schools, particularly designing children’s craft and assisting alongside educators. Kerrie finally returned to college to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting at Metropolitan State University of Denver where in December 2018, she graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Kerrie has now lived in Denver for twelve years with her husband and a mostly imaginary cat.
